OBPDC has been awarded a prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

Oldham Boxing & Personal Development Centre (OBPDC) has been awarded a prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. The honour is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK and recognises the good work the club does in the community.

The club was nominated for the award by Councillor Ginny Alexander we would like to give a huge thank you to councillor Ginny Alexander for nominating our club for this honourable award during her period of office as Mayor of Oldham.

The club will now receive a certificate signed by the Queen and a domed glass crystal to display in the centre. However, due to Covid restrictions, the invite to Buckingham Palace will now take place next year. #qavs2021 #oldhamboxing
